Chris Elassad as Zombie Soldier

Playing a monster in a zombie movie was nothing short of fulfilling a child hood dream! I can’t thank Rocco enough for making it possible. He showed that passion, hard work, and real experience is what it takes to make it happen. It’s easier said than done, but that’s why they play the games.  Live the dream!

I have always dreamed of creating my own brand of entertainment that could reach through the screen and grab you by the collar. It’s not an easy to task to pull together the time and resources. In the real world you have to pay the bills. When I received a chance to have a stable career in the film industry, I jumped on it.  I joined Local 52 and became a full time Grip. I love pushing the camera dolly or operating a crane to create the perfect shot.  Being part of the moving picture process is enormously gratifying for me.  It’s a blessing and a curse to watch others making their projects while you’re a technician.  However, it’s given me the real world crash course in making a major motion picture. Basically I get a paid education : ) I love the business and it’s so much fun to jump from one side of the camera to the other. God Bless America!
